If you’re new to Crystal and Pearl Boutique, a very warm welcome – how are you? ✨ We take pride in making every child’s visit to our boutique truly magical, and every customer’s journey is special to us. From flower girls and gala day outfits to Primary 7 proms and communion dresses, we’re honoured to welcome thousands of families through our doors each year. We’re always looking for new ways to make the experience even more memorable for the children. This article will guide you through exactly what your journey with us will look like.

Filling Out Your Booking Form

Filling out your booking form is really important to help us make your experience the best it can be. The form lets you share details that matter for your appointment – like your little one’s name, so we can have it written on the mirror ready to welcome her when she arrives.

We offer two different appointment packages, so it’s good to know which one you’d like before your visit, as stock can be limited.

Our Princess Package is completely free, or if you’d like to make your little one’s day that extra bit special, you can upgrade to our Crowning Ceremony Package!

The Crowning Ceremony is priced at £35 and comes in the sweetest Crystal and Pearl branded bag and includes a signature satin robe, a sparkling tiara, a lollipop, and a premium drink - the perfect way to make her appointment feel truly magical.

Customer Journey - Your First Boutique Appointment – A Magical Experience Awaits

Your appointment is today, you’re coming to our boutique, how exciting! When your little one walks through the doors, she’ll be greeted with her name on the mirror, a welcome drink, and a cake (which she can enjoy right away or save for when she says “yes” to the dress!).

You’ll then meet your very own stylist, who will take you to a private fitting room. If you’ve chosen the Crowning Ceremony package, everything will be beautifully laid out ready for your little one. Your stylist will have a quick chat about what to expect, and then the fun really begins - and we know the kids are always eager to get started!

Your little one will be given 5 pegs to choose her top 5 dresses in the boutique, whether she loves satin, tulle, glass beads, or pearls. Then it’s time to try them on and share lots of special moments with family. These are the magical memories we love creating.

Customer Journey: Saying Yes to the Dress

This is the moment your little one gets to snap her “Yes to the Dress” photo with the sign! Honestly, you can usually tell when she’s found the one before she even says it – the grin gives it away every time. When she finally says yes, the whole shop buzzes and she’s got the biggest smile on her face.

And if we’ve got a bit of time, we’ll have some fun with accessories too – tiaras, veils, shoes, and of course the gloves (the girls always love the gloves!).

Dress Sizing - Finding The Perfect Fit

So, you’ve found the dress - how exciting!

Next, we’ll go through the sizing part of your appointment. Each stylist is fully trained to recommend the right size for your little one, but we do rely on parents to make the final call. After all, you know your child best! Some grow slowly, while others shoot up in just a few months – every child is different.

We know it can feel a little daunting if the communion isn’t for another 6 months or more, but don’t worry -we’ll always recommend leaving a little extra room so the fit is just right on the big day. Remember, it’s always easier to take a dress in than let one out, and going too small can lead to costly alterations.

Customer Journey - The Order Process

Some dresses can take up to 5 months to be made, as each one is handmade with care. The sooner you place your order, the sooner your dress will be ready. But please don’t worry – as soon as your dress arrives, we’ll give you a call right away. And if you’d ever like an update in the meantime, just give us a ring and we’ll be happy to check for you.

Final Fit and Collection – Your Dress is Ready!

Once you get that exciting call to say your dress has arrived, we’ll book your little one in for her final fit appointment. This is the magical moment she’ll try on her very own dress for the first time! It’s also the perfect time to bring along all her accessories so we can see everything together.

During the appointment, we’ll make sure the fit is just right and let you know if any alterations are needed. If everything is perfect, this will be the moment you get to take her dress home!

Second Final Fit & Dress Collection – Completing Your Appointment

If a second appointment is needed, this will be the time when everything is ready and perfect for collection. Your little one will try on her dress to make sure the fit is just right, and then you’ll be able to take it home.
