Why Now Is the Perfect Time to Book for Communion & Bridal 2026

Hello lovelies, I hope you’re all doing well! I am so happy communion season is back. I don’t know what it is, but there’s always something in the air during this time, it’s so special, and the vibes are always amazing! We absolutely love all of our wonderful customers who walk through the doors at C&P, and we’re so excited to welcome our new customers who will be joining us for their extra special days.

When Should I Book?

We’re super busy right now because of communion season, so we always recommend booking as soon as you have a date in mind. Our weekend appointments fill up very quickly, so please get booked in as soon as possible — either give us a call or send us a message and we’ll get you sorted!

Early 2026 Flower Girls?

For 2026 Flower Girls, it is extremely important to book in early. With such a huge increase in demand, some suppliers are experiencing longer turnaround times, with certain dresses taking up to 5 months to arrive. We encourage you to book your appointment as soon as you can.

We always recommend visiting us at least 5–6 months before your wedding. This ensures you can view the full Crystal & Pearl collection, have plenty of time for alterations if needed, and feel completely prepared ahead of your big day. We don’t want any stressed brides - and neither do you!

2026 Communions?

I know it may feel far away, but in reality, to have a dress made in time and to access the full collection, it’s important to start early. If you leave it too late, some designers may stop taking orders and the selection of dresses will become smaller. And we really don’t like saying no!

When it comes to sizing, our amazing team are experts - but we also value your input as parents (you know your little ones best). We’ll work with you to choose the right size, keeping in mind that children grow so quickly. If a dress is fitting a little snug at the appointment, we'll always recommend sizing up. It’s much easier to take in a dress than to let it out. We always recommend leaving a little room for growth.

From my experience as a stylist here at Crystal & Pearl, most dresses fit beautifully with just a few tweaks or alterations.
